    Great flight controller.

Easy to install. I was worried about soldering the headers but wasn't that bad. I'm a newbie to flight controllers but getting this one up for my plane was easy even with no experience with INAV. The wireless config app is very nice to have. Sent in a few questions and always got a response the next day. That's is a plus... Anyway it's a good option to get into INAV. It works and is budget friendly.

    A good choice

Posted by Unknown on 7th Oct 2024

This is now the 3rd flight controller from SpeedyBee and I am still very happy with it. The connectors for GPS, CAM, VTX and receiver make installation very quick. This is true as I installed the first two in new models. But the last one I bought replaces an older Matek FC and it is different because the devices mentioned above are connected via Dupont connectors. So I had the choice of either cutting the connectors off all the cables and then soldering them or (which is what I did) building adapters so that I could connect the 2.54mm Dupont connectors to the SpeedyBee connectors. A bit cumbersome, especially as the cables are already built into the model, but this way I can change at any time.

    Mounting

In general it’s good but missing some mounting features. Like extra screws and or specific drilled holes for attaching it to the frame, but there is some free 3d plans for some casings
